Imagination Engineering, Inc began as a hobby by Richard Smith with his passion for Austin Healey's and other British cars. This company grew from very small beginnings to realization that this had to become a full time business

In October 1996 premises were found and rented at 7050 Edgewater Drive in Orlando, FL. business soon outgrew its surroundings. An opportunity arose to purchase a plot of land near rental site at 6825 Edgewater Drive with hope of moving shop to our facility one day.

As company grew, Richard was unable to meet needs of an ever expanding customer base. Staff capable of working on British Cars was very difficult to find. After years of searching for just right mix of employees, we were contacted by a gentleman from England. Mr. Cox was looking for a company that would fit his abilities and present him with new challenges.

Imagination Engineering, Inc. then began process of bringing Jeff Cox from England. This has been an arduous process, but well worth time and energy required.

With addition of Jeff Cox to company, we now have more than 67 years of combined experience for specialized service of repairs to all types of British cars. These specialties include any British car from Mini's to Rolls Royce and including Bugatti's. Donna Smith manages office and financial side of company. She is also president of company and wife of Richard Smith.

In November of 2000, ground was broken for a new facility at 6825 Edgewater Drive. building was completed in April and we moved to site in May 2001. company has continued to grow to point were we now can for see need for further expansion.
